Grateful for connections.

Grateful for connections.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

~Flavia Weedn, Author of Flavia and the Dream Maker

In the present moment, we find magic in the connections as the mystery of life unfolds. There in those precious moments, we discover who will be the ones to leave a profound imprint on our soul. Even strangers, after a synchronistic encounter, form friendships whose powerful bond has a ripple effect far beyond what is known. These friendships last an eternity, unbroken by distance or the passage of time. These special connections are made stronger through the growing pains of life; more beautiful through shared joy in the celebration; and deeper through the compassionate, warm embrace in times of sadness. These are friends who come into our lives to teach us how to dance to the beat of life’s beautiful drum and who show us how to accept the challenges through the wisdom of grace.

Whatever the reason for the connection, we remain forever grateful for the footprint that has transformed us, allowed us to become better people, and expanded our heart’s capacity to love. For even when we are physically apart, the memory of the connection stays, forever changing us for the better! And how thankful we will always be that we will never be the same again.

Magical Key to Bliss: Welcome new friendships; they will change your world!

  1. Hi, great post. In life you will realize that there is a purpose for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you and some will teach you. But most important are the ones who bring out the best in you, respect you, accept you for who you are. Those are the ones worth keeping around.

Thanks again for the wonderful reminder through this post.

  2. Very true… I am blessed to have people have have really helped me, taught me and left their marks in my heart. AND all these were the most unexpected connections or people I met. I often thank them, though they are not around me…
